GROUND CONTROL

1.VENUE SUPERVSION

There are no rostered Venue Supervision Ground Control Duties allocated to Rooball Teams.  This is done by the team on Duty at Glenn McGrath No.1 Field

2. GROUND SUPERVSION

It is the responsibility of all Lilli Pilli FC teams playing at home to provide a designated ÒGround ControllerÓ for each ground in operation.  In small sided games, one person should be rostered as the Ground Controller.  The Ground Controller is to roam between all small fields as located on Glenn McGrath Oval No. 4.

The person must be clearly visible to the referee and wear the official Ground Control jacket, available from the canteen. Their responsibilities include;

- Ensuring that all players and spectators follow accepted standards of behaviour

- Ensuring that spectators do not encroach onto the playing field during matches and that the area behind goal posts are clear of spectators

- Ensuring that there are no hazards on or around the playing field (including dogs)

-Taking note of any incidents or injuries

-No person can be both Ground Controller and Manager at any one time.

The canteen is operated independently of Ground Control. Therefore, there will be no rostered canteen shifts as part of Ground Control Duty.

Please do keep an eye out for our canteen staff to ensure that they are okay and be available should they require a quick break to visit the toilet or obtain stock.
