Glenn McGrath Oval No.4
(Two small fields located on main ground)
Each round two
teams will be rostered on duty at Glenn McGrath Oval No 4.
One team for AM
Duty (Set Up all small fields) - 7:00am approx. (depending on draw)
One team for AM Duty
(Pack Up all small fields) - approx 1:00 pm (depending on draw)
Set Up Reminders
* At least two adults should be rostered for both
Set Up & Pack Up Duties
* A Committee member will
be rostered on ÔOpen DutyÕ at Glenn McGrath Oval 3 to monitor Set Up only.
* New Roo Ball ÒPop UpÓ
goals are now available for use. They are located in the Shower Room
next to the equipment room. Posts and sandbags are also stored in Shower Room.
*All fields need to be
set up. This involves placing a ÒPop
UpÓ goal at each end of the fields.
A small sand bag can be placed at the rear of the goals.
*Corner posts and half
way posts also to be placed in each field.
* Glenn McGrath No 4
fields are line marked by the Council Groundsman.
* Please check the field
and surrounding areas for ÔforeignÕ objects such as glass or bottles prior to
the start of the first match.
* Please check if any
other teams need help setting up fields on Glenn McGrath 1 or 2.
GROUND CONTROL
1.VENUE SUPERVSION
There
are no rostered Venue Supervision Ground Control Duties allocated to Rooball
Teams. This is done by the team on
Duty at Glenn McGrath No.1 Field
2.
GROUND SUPERVSION
It is the responsibility of all Lilli
Pilli FC teams playing at home to provide a designated ÒGround ControllerÓ for each
ground
in operation. In small sided
games, one person should be rostered as the Ground Controller. The Ground Controller is to roam
between all small fields as located on Glenn McGrath Oval No. 4.
The person must be clearly visible
to the referee and wear the official Ground Control jacket, available from the
canteen. Their responsibilities include;
- Ensuring that all
players and spectators follow accepted standards of behaviour
- Ensuring that
spectators do not encroach onto the playing field during matches and that the
area behind goal posts are clear of spectators
- Ensuring that there
are no hazards on or around the playing field (including dogs)
-Taking note of any
incidents or injuries
-No person can be both
Ground Controller and Manager at any one time.

Canteen
The canteen is operated
independently of Ground Control. Therefore, there will be no rostered canteen
shifts as part of Ground Control Duty.
Please do keep an eye out
for our canteen staff to ensure that they are okay and be available should they
require a quick break to visit the toilet or obtain stock.
Pack Up Reminders
* A Committee member will
be rostered on ÔClose DutyÕ at Caringbah to monitor Pack Up only.
* The ÒPop UpÓ goals and
all other equipment need to be packed up and stored neatly in the Shower Room (next to the equipment
room).
* Please pick up any
rubbish left lying around the Canteen, playing field or spectator areas.
* All doors and gates
need to be closed and locked. (shower room, equipment room, canteen, toilets)
