Glenn McGrath Oval No. 1 (Main Top Field)
Each round two teams should be rostered on duty at Glenn McGrath Oval No 1.
One team for AM Duty (Set Up & Ground Control) - 7:00 am to 12:00 approx
One team for PM Duty (Ground Control & Pack Up) - 12:00 noon to 4:30 approx
Set Up Reminders
* Match sheets, keys and canteen money will be available from Lilli Pilli Oval from 7:00 am.
Please collect the Glenn McGrath Ground Control Box on your way to Glenn McGrath Oval. The first game on No 1 is usually scheduled to start at 8:30 am. It is always a good idea to check the draw for minor variations to this time.
* A Committee member will be rostered on ÔOpen DutyÕ at Glenn McGrath Oval to monitor Set Up only.
* New permanent goal posts were installed at the start of last season so there is no need to move or set up goal posts on No
* All equipment for Set Up is located in the equipment storeroom.
* Corner posts (with orange flags) need to be placed at each corner and at the half-way mark on either side of the field.
* The large white nets need to be put up at each end. The nets are pegged down at the back using the small steel pegs
provided (use at least 10 small pegs at each end). Please use the small pegs provided in the Green Tool Box labelled - No 1.
* Attach the nets using the Velcro strips located in the box labelled - Velcro for Caringbah No 1.
* Glenn McGrath Oval No 1, 2 and 3 are line marked by the Council Groundsman. Please do not use white oxide anywhere on top fields
* Please check the field and surrounding areas for ÔforeignÕ objects such as glass or bottles prior to the start of the first match.
* The boom gate to Willarong Rd needs to be closed and padlocked as parking is not permitted within Glenn McGrath Oval.
* The gates and doors to the toilets need to be unlocked.
* The Ground Control table and stand needs to be wheeled out of the Canteen and stationed beside the door to the Canteen.
* Match sheets should be placed in the appropriate clipboards. A copy of the draw should be pinned onto the noticeboard.
Please also pin a copy of the draw on the noticeboard above the phone in the Canteen.
* A copy of the 2009 Sutherland Shire Football Association Rule Book and By laws should also be on hand.
* The two portable silver metal bench seats located in the Shower Room need be placed at the Ôinterchange zoneÕ of field
No 1.
Ground Control
One person is required for Venue Supervision and one additional person is required for Ground Supervision (playing field) as set out below
1.VENUE SUPERVSION
* The team rostered to perform Ground Control (Venue Supervision) must provide one adult to perform the duty of Rostered Ground Controller. They must remain in the vicinity of the Ground Control Centre (Canteen/Kiosk) for the duration of their Ground Control Duty. This person must wear an official orange Ground Control jacket at all times. Jackets are located within the Canteen / Ground Control area. Responsibilities include;
-The Rostered Ground Controller must ensure that Match Sheets are filled in correctly. Our club incurs a $25 fine if the names of either the Home Team or the Away Team are not recorded on the Official Match Sheet. We can also be fined if the match sheets are unsigned or not completed with Coach & Manager names and shirt numbers.
- Please ensure all matches start on time and that a referee is available for all games. A Ground Appointed Referee should be appointed in the absence of an official referee

2. GROUND SUPERVSION
It is the responsibility of all Lilli Pilli FC teams playing at home to provide a designated ÒGround ControllerÓ for each ground in operation. The person must be clearly visible to the referee and wear the official Ground Control jacket, available from the canteen. Their responsibilities include;
- Ensuring that all players and spectators follow accepted standards of behaviour
- Ensuring that spectators do not encroach onto the playing field during matches and that the area behind goal posts are clear of spectators
- Ensuring that there are no hazards on or around the playing field (including dogs)
-Taking note of any incidents or injuries
-No person can be both Ground Controller and Manager at any one time.
A full description of Ground Control duties are listed on pages 38 to 41 in the Sutherland Shire Football Association Rule Book and By Laws 2010 (Please see attached copy of relevant pages)
Canteen
The canteen is operated independently of Ground Control. Therefore, there will be no rostered canteen shifts as part of Ground Control Duty.
Please do keep an eye out for our canteen staff to ensure that they are okay and be available should they require a quick break to visit the toilet or obtain stock.
Pack Up Reminders
* Match sheets, completed accident forms, keys and all canteen money (Glenn McGrath Oval Ground Control Box) needs to be returned to Lilli Pilli Oval canteen as soon as possible after closure (before 5:00 pm).
* A Committee member will be rostered on ÔClose DutyÕ at Glenn McGrath Oval to monitor Pack Up only.
* The goal posts do not need to be moved on Glenn McGrath Oval No 1.
* All equipment (flags, nets, pegs) should be returned neatly to the small storeroom.
* Net pegs should be placed into the Green Tool Box labelled - No 1.
* Velcro strips should also be collected and placed in the box labelled - Velcro for Caringbah No 1.
* Please pick up any rubbish left lying around the Canteen, playing field or spectator areas.
* All doors and gates need to be securely closed and locked. (shower room, equipment room, canteen, toilets)
* The boom gate to Willarong Rd needs to be closed and padlocked.
* The Ground Control table and stand needs to be wheeled back into the Canteen.
* Please double check that all equipment is returned.
* The two portable metal bench seats need to be stored in the Shower Room.

Glenn
McGrath Oval No.2 Field (Bottom Field)
Each round one team will be rostered on duty at Glenn McGrath Oval No 2.
One U10/11team for AM Duty (Set Up both fields) - 7:00am approx. (depending on draw)
One U10/11 team for PM Duty (Pack Up both fields) - approx 3:00 pm (depending on draw)
Set Up Reminders
* At least four adults should be rostered for both Set Up & Pack Up Duties
* A Committee member will be rostered on ÔOpen DutyÕ at Glenn McGrath Oval 2 to monitor Set Up only.
* New Roo Ball goal posts are now available for use. They are located in the Shower Room next to the equipment room.
* All other equipment for Set Up is located in the equipment storeroom.
* Corner posts (with orange flags) need to be placed at each corner of the U10/11s field. (i.e 4 in total)
* The Roo Ball posts are in 4 parts (i.e two goal ends and two interchangeable cross/back bars). The goal posts can be very
easily assembled by two adults.
* The small green nets need to be put up at each end. The nets are pegged down at the back using the saddle type steel pegs
(please use 9 saddle type pegs at each end).
* The pegs can be found in the two Green Tool Boxes labelled - No 2.
* Attach the nets using the Velcro strips located in the two boxes labelled - Velcro for Caringbah No 2.
* Glenn McGrath No 2 field are line marked by the Council Groundsman.

* The Roo Ball goal posts need to be disassembled and stored neatly in the Shower Room (next to the equipment room).
* All equipment (flags, nets) should be returned neatly to the small storeroom.
* Net pegs should be placed into the Green Tool Boxes labelled - No 2.
* Velcro strips should also be collected and placed in the boxes labelled - Velcro for Caringbah No 2.
