Weekends
Following prolonged wet weather during the week or heavy rain on Friday or Saturday nights it is sometimes necessary for the Association to declare grounds unfit for play. This decision can be made either during the week up to 5.00 pm Fridays, or, for rain on Friday nights or during the weekend, early on match day mornings following ground inspections by Club and Association officials.
Whilst we will make every effort to maintain news on lillipilli.org and on our facebook page members may keep up to date via a recorded message. Lilli Pilli FC has established a weekend wet weather info line. This number will be updated by 7:30 each Saturday & Sunday morning if there is a suspicion that some or all games maybe impacted by bad weather. One quick call and you will know what’s going on!

Please note that Sutherland Shire Council makes decisions regarding the suitability of grounds for training from Monday to Friday but decisions regarding play on weekends are left ENTIRELY to the Association. Grounds closed during the week may be declared playable by the Association for games on Saturdays and Sundays.

Failure to be present for a scheduled game will result in a FORFEIT against your team and our Club being required to pay the Match Fees for both teams
